We are looking for a dedicated Virtual School Sign Language Interpreter to join our team and work for a school district in Ohio. Key Responsibilities: ? Provide accurate and fluent interpretation in American Sign Language (ASL) ? Work closely with teachers, students, and parents to ensure smooth and effective communication ? Offer constructive feedback to enhance accessibility and inclusivity for students ? Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and documentation ? Utilize remote communication tools and platforms (such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet) to facilitate virtual interactions
Qualifications: ? Certification or License as a Sign Language Interpreter ? Previous interpreting experience, preferably in a virtual setting ? Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) ? Reliable high-speed internet connection with a dedicated workspace
